Love this: because I agree with your premise about "women's ministry" and your share your decision process and experiences--good and bad (and good)--of participating; and I am so very glad to have the privilege of enjoying and learning from your teaching this term.

Yeah, this sounds familiar. I was like, "I don't see how I could ever attend church again..." And now I'm attending a pretty awesome church that I love. I can't wait for Sundays and small group. I feel like I should write a book--it would be quite long--filled with words I've had to eat.

I worked full time when my girls were growing -- and I know I missed out on so much. It also made me less aware of those moments you mentioned. But I remember my eldest daughter feeling blue when her little boy decided he wanted daddy instead of mommy for something.

We keep our study door closed. To see the disaster of my books and Chris' papers would engender much fear on the part of our friends, not to mention the danger it presents to Keegan were he to find himself lost in the labyrinth of stacks.

Your husband, my wife. I always have stacks of books, papers, mish-mash, on my desk in the study and am given daily grief over the conglomeration of life that sits there. But, she pretends to understand until company is coming over. And yes, the Holy Spirit is God's original bluetooth! Love the analogy.

I love you and your quirky little self so much!

(p.s. YES on the eyeballing it. Except I have Chris' disease of perfectionism, too. I don't know how I live with my OCD-cluttered self)
