I'm especially excited about this issue--no fooling (you know I couldn't resisted).
This month, I have an interview with Grace Romjue from the band Jubilee. Jubilee is officially registered as a non-profit (501(c)3) and donates half of all proceeds and 10% booking fees to International Justice Mission, an organization that fights to free slaves around the globe. Beside that they have incredible music--mellow rock indie with an aftertaste of jazz. To try a bite of their music, hop on over to their website or their Myspace. One subscriber will win a free Jubilee album.
I'll also have some reflections on early Church art and how it inspires me in my writing and music.
And April's Glimpses features artwork by Brenda Gribbin. Her work will be shown in an upcoming art festival, and I'm excited about giving a sneak-peek of her work to subscribers.
For those of you in the Dallas area and interested in art festivals, here's one that'll sugar your coffee: "Beginnings: Genesis" sponsored by Park Cities Presbyterian Church. Judges will award winners, who will then move on to a larger Dallas venue. Expect quality work here, folks.

If you haven't subscribed to Glimpses and want to, there's a nifty sign-up just to your right. (I had to do the L thing to figure out my right and left--the problem comes when both L's look correct after studying Hebrew.) When you sign-up, you'll receive a free study tool for Bible stories.
If you don't want to sign-up, that means you're not cool like the rest of us. Kidding. Sort of.

I love listening to music that has a good cause!
nice connections. i'm really so glad to have found you here heather. feels like we're on the same page about an awful lot of stuff and there's this really weird symmetry of interests.
and of course, i just signed up for glimpses because i wouldn't want to miss an opportunity to be cool. ;)
I'm not big on the music scene, so thanks for bringing these folks up.
